Arvi Museum

  /    /    /  Arvi Museum

Arvi Museum is a secluded small museum among the woodlands close to Lake Arvi, Estonia.

People will arrive at this building following a path along which a wall gradually grows enveloping the structure with a shape that folds in on itself and then get to  an entrance hidden behind a wall and a large body of water.

Inside, the rough texture of the museum made of black concrete and limestone, typical of the local buildings, is contrasted by whitewashed walls and ceilings with water-based resins and cork inserts.

Finally a large glass wall opens out onto the landscape like a telescope.
